From Kyoto Station, take a bus to an endless world
Once you step off at JR Kyoto Station, the gateway to the city, you will find yourself in this thousand-year-old capital.
There is a large bus terminal in front of the station, with many routes to various destinations.
We head towards Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion, walking along the cobblestone streets.
Take a trip to Kinkakuji Temple or Arashiyama and be soothed by the nature of the four seasons.
At Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, you will be captivated by the endless vermilion of the thousand torii gates.
No matter where you're heading, you won't get lost if you start from Kyoto Station.
It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes from the hotel to Nara. Namba is one stop away from Shin-Imamiya Station on the Nankai Electric Railway. At Namba, transfer to the express train on the Kintetsu Nara Line and head to Kintetsu Nara Station.

These major World Heritage sites are all within easy walking distance.

One of the joys of traveling to Nara is searching for your favorite souvenirs among the retro streets.
Take the Nankai Electric Railway express train from Shin-Imamiya Station to Hashimoto Station and transfer to Gokurakuji Temple. From Gokurakuji Temple, take the cable car to Koyasan Station.
[Mount Koya] To the sacred place in the sky
Mount Koya, a World Heritage Site with a history of 1,200 years, is located at an altitude of approximately 800m and can be reached in 2 hours and 15 minutes by Nankai Railway and cable car.

From the station, you can access various famous places by dedicated bus route.
Okunoin: The largest sacred site in Mount Koya, with over 200,000 gravestones and memorial monuments.
Danjo Garan: The vibrant vermilion Konpon Daito towers over the temple, making it a symbol of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism.
Kongobuji Temple: The head temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect, it boasts one of the largest rock gardens in Japan.
Staff recommendation: Due to the high altitude of Mount Koya, the temperature is about 5 to 10 degrees lower than in Osaka city.
It's a great place to escape the heat in the summer, but in the spring and autumn it's a good idea to bring an extra layer of clothing.
